INDIVIDUAL VIRUSES
There are a lot of things out there trying to kill us, and viruses are particularly good at it. This is unfortunate because viruses are by far the most abundant entities on the planet; in fact, there are more individual viruses on Earth than there are stars in the universe, and sars cov2, the virus that causes covid19, is one of them. There are more than 320 000 viruses that can infect mammals, and Covid isn't even close to being the world's worst virus, so what viruses are some of the deadliest viruses still in existence?
1-RABIES :
Rabies Rabies is a viral disease that is nearly impossible to survive without treatment once clinical signs show. Rabies transmission is nearly 100% deadly. Domestic dogs are responsible for 99 percent of human infections, while bats and rats play a modest role. A bite from an infected animal can cause brain inflammation, nausea, vomiting, violent movements, and even a dread of water. Once these symptoms appear, it's too late for the infected person; death usually occurs within a few days due to cardiorespiratory arrest. Fortunately, we have a rabies vaccine that is nearly 100 percent effective if given early; however, the virus still kills about 56 000 people each year, with more than 95 percent of those deaths occurring in the United States. Despite the fact that we have a rabies vaccination that is about 100 percent effective if administered early, the virus nevertheless kills over 56 000 people per year, with more than 95 percent of those deaths occurring in Africa and Asia.
2- HIV:
HIV-positive people human immunodeficiency virus Viruses are two types of viruses that can infect humans and cause aids. Symptoms include exhaustion, chills, mouth ulcers, rash, muscular pains, and other flu-like symptoms. HIV is transmitted through a number of bodily fluids. Since the virus's discovery in the 1980s, an estimated 32 million people have died from it; nevertheless, it is no longer regarded as a death sentence. While there is no cure for the virus, it can be managed with treatment. Those who contract it can live long and healthy lives, but the illness continues to wreak havoc in many low- and middle-income countries, where approximately 95 percent of new HIV infections occur today. HIV is responsible for nearly one million deaths each year While flu vaccines have been available since the 1930s, they only target certain strains of the virus. Symptoms of influenza include fever, chills, and body aches.
3-DENGUE FEVER:
Dengue fever is caused by a mosquito-borne virus, and an estimated 390 million cases occur each year. Fever headache vomiting muscle pain and a rash are all symptoms of the disease in some cases it can progress to dengue hemorrhagic fever or dengue shock syndrome resulting in serious bleeding a sudden drop in blood pressure and death fortunately a vaccine for dengue fever has been approved and is available in a number of countries still approximately forty thousand people die each year three sars cov2 in China November 2019.
4-CORONAVIRUS:
Is the virus that changed the world as we knew it, halting travel, closing restaurants, beaches, and stores, and bringing the global economy to a halt. The disease this virus causes, known as covid19, has an estimated mortality rate of about 3.4 percent. Symptoms include fever, coughing, and shortness of breath. To date, covid19 has killed more than 3.5 million people worldwide. The sars cov virus is the second most lethal virus on this list. It's a viral respiratory infection that was originally discovered in Asia in 2003. Symptoms include high fever, headache, and pneumonia.
A total of 8098 persons who became ill over the world is the virus that changed the world as we knew it, halting travel, closing restaurants, beaches, and stores, and bringing the global economy to a halt. A total of 8098 persons became ill over the world774 people died in the outbreak, but no new cases of severe acute respiratory syndrome have been reported since the early 2000s. Murr's cov is the most lethal of the known coronaviruses that have been transferred from animals to humans. It causes fever, coughing, and shortness of breath, and has a mortality rate of around 35 percent. There are currently no approved treatments or vaccines, but fortunately, while human to human transmission is possible, it's also unlikely.
